So the Hey Girl link party hosted by Kelly at View Along the Way, Michelle at Decor and the Dog, Chelsea at Two Twenty One, Bliss at Bliss Ranch, and Ashley at Domestic Imperfection....
....sounded super fun. But I still didn't think I was going to do it because you know that post about how I hung some pictures on my wall? Took me all week.
But then this morning everyone started posting their funny pictures, and I'm an Aries so I can't stand being left out of anything. So I did it. Just ONE. Not like all you overachievers with no newborns who rolled out like a hundred of these things, each one more hilarious than the last.
The instructions specified that it could be something your DH/cat/teddy bear/etc. had actually said or something you wish he'd say. Mine is a combination of the two. Hint on which is which: I do not yet have a farmhouse table, and the shelves were finished a long time ago.
:) mmmmmmmmm I'm guessing the first one.
ReplyDeleteSincerely,
one of the over achievers without a newborn ;)
Love the meme! He needs to get that table done for you!!!!What's the hold up? =]
ReplyDeletelol This is perfect! I love it.
ReplyDeleteOK, I admit, I don't have any newborns at home (two day old grandson, though!!!) but I have let the laundry sit too long in the dryer while reading through all these fabulous posts! Such a fun party!
Debbie :)
thanks...and congrats on your grandson! :)
DeleteLooks to me like Brad Pitt is sawing wood in your garage.
ReplyDeleteBliss
It's actually our basement--mine and Brad's ;). I'd better not tell him you said that, lest it go to his head :)
DeleteHAHA! Well done :)
ReplyDeletePrint this and hang on the wall - you may get a table out of it!
ReplyDeleteMaybe this is the key to the table I am waiting on also. :) Thanks for giving in to peer pressure!
ReplyDeleteHunky Husband AND uses power tools...what a combo! I don't know how anyone has a blog AND a baby...one or the other has to take a "back seat".
ReplyDeleteI think it will get easier once we teach the baby to help paint ;)
DeleteSending you good thoughts to get through this growth spurt! We just came through one about a week ago and GAH I am still so exhausted. :)
ReplyDeleteMaybe if you tell him the whole internet thinks that using power tools makes him look like Brad Pitt, he'll start feeling the motivation to work on your table. I'm sure as a father to little ones, he can't have anything else important happening with his time, right?
Thanks :). Actually, I'm pretty sure if I told him, "don't worry about helping with the kids at all for the next two weeks--just work on that table!" it would get done. But I don't need the table that badly ;)
DeleteHe he he he - Brad is making you a table! LOL
ReplyDeleteOh. Em. Gee. I LOVE this!
ReplyDeleteHahaha! My husband still hasn't made the rustic faux reclaimed wood buffet I've been requesting...I so know your pain LOL!
ReplyDeleteWe'll get our furniture someday, I'm sure! :)
DeleteHa ha, hey Brad - yes you can make me a table... But seriously, two posts in one day AND a growth-spurtin' baby? You ARE incredible! And that's probably what your little one was thinking all 80 gazillion times. Hope you're down to only 40 gazillion or so now :)
ReplyDeleteThanks :)....he does seem to be back to his usual 40 gazillion now ;)
